Successful Management Of Hypothyroidsm

A 16 yr Girl Known case of- Hypothyroidism, Deviated Nasal Septum, and Allergic rhinitis came with complaints of-
- Tremors in both hands since 3 yrs
- Unexplained weight gain
- Hair loss
- Feeling Lethargic
- Dryness of the skin
- Headaches
- Irregular MC since 2 yrs
- Associated complaints-
- Sinusitis
- Nose bleeding every alternate day
- Difficulty in breathing while sleeping, because of Nasal blockage
History of present illness-
Patient had been suffering from hypothyroid problem since 3 yrs and is on medication Thyroxin 25mg OD, but in spite of taking meds, her condition had been deteriorating day by day. While looking for cure, patient’s guardian decided to try Ayurvedic treatment for her condition.
Medicine Thyroxin 25 mg which patient used to take was tapered and eventually stopped during Ayurvedic treatment. Investigation for TSH, T3 and T4 were done before starting therapy. Keeping the condition of patient in mind Nasal drop therapy for 8 days was given, along with some oral medication.
Nasal drops acts on Hypothalamus, pituitary gland and Thyroid gland to regulate their normal functions and brings functional harmony in between them.
From the 3 rd day of the therapy patient started responding to the treatment, by the last day of the therapy, almost 60% of symptoms were gone.
Then patient was kept on Ayurvedic oral medication for 3 months with follow up every 15 days. Tests for TSH, T3 and T4 were repeated twice

Within a period of 3 months, patient was completely free form above complaints with Normal level of TSH, T3 and T4. Patient is now leading completely healthy life without taking any medicine.
Conclusion- Condition like Hypothyroidism can be treated very effectively and cured completely from the root, with Ayurvedic treatments.
